Freelance Tips: How To Save Time

Work is rarely easy, and most of the time, the main problem is time: we never have enough of it. Organizing one’s work as a freelancer is never easy, and that’s why we use unique, time-saving apps and tools to make life (and work) easier. These are our freelance tips for you.
Freelance tips: How to save time
Effective time management is essential when every minute costs you money. Every freelancer has to learn how to manage time effectively. For some, it’s easier. Some need all kinds of tools to make life bearable. Here are some of them.
Notion
We all take notes: keeping everything in one’s head is not an option. There are many ways to keep notes, from physical notebooks to built-in solutions (Apple’s app is not half bad) to special tools like Notion. It has everything from to-do lists, notes, files manager, etc. It also supports the Time View database — a time management technique we use.
Otter AI
Online meetings are often a pain, especially if you prefer conversing by text. It’s easy to miss something, and apps like Otter AI are created with that in mind. Otter can transcribe every audio into text. Now you can go back whenever you want, never missing or forgetting any detail. There are also real-time captions for video.
Tomighty
Have you ever heard of the Pomodoro technique? It allows you to separate your workday into sections, 25 minutes each, with 5-minute breaks. It’s great for freelancers, and Tomighty, which is free, is extremely easy to use. Just add it to your taskbar, and soon you’ll find you have a lot more free time on your hands.
Raindrop.io
We all need bookmarks, but managing them has always been painful. I used every browser and was never satisfied with the built-in bookmarks management they offer. That is why I love Raindrop.io: it’s a free tool that lets you easily organize all your bookmarks. It looks great and supports every OS, from Windows to iPad. It’s perfect for when you need to save that article or a tutorial. Folders and hashtags assure you never lose anything anymore.
StayFocusd
Staying focused is something that is very hard for a lot of us. Have a lot of work but can’t help but check Reddit or Discord every 3 minutes? That’s why you need StayFocusd, which allows you to add any website to the block list. It’s a Chrome extension that works surprisingly well when you need to cut down on bad habits.
